Fill this part with a senseless title
Wednesday, June 8, 2011

And I decided to make a to-do list.
  • Take a nap
  • Try to fill up my UP application form. /yikes
  • Study, study, study my Brain Train manual
  • Do chores
I was so bored yesterday, I decided to clean the house. Why is this week going by so slowly?

Psssssh
Tuesday, May 10, 2011

Blogger, hello. So for the next couple of days, I'll be kinda busy with Kumon. We started again today and thankfully I'm in level J already. But uhh, I think I won't be able to answer my homework correctly. Ugh, exponents. I'm just doing all of this for the sake of reviewing.

Speaking of review, I'm still terrified when it comes to commuting for Brain Train. I'm paranoid. Just the thought of me being late if no tricycle stops in front of me. Oh gaaaaawd. I regret it now, I should've enrolled in Sci Tech. I can just imagine the savings I'd have. :(

My dream last night was weird. The school year just started, and I'm in Miyazaki together with the former Mornese people. Only that, we were in the grade 2 classrooms, and Sir Chet was our adviser? And we had drafting tables as our, well, tables. Weird. Just thought of sharing. lol.

May. The weather's cold all of a sudden. Me likey.

College talk
Tuesday, April 26, 2011

This talk is the talk. Because I'm a girl who wants and is scared of independence. And college = independence. I'll talk about two things that's boggling my mind about college, the university and the course.

The university. No doubt, UST is my priority. Though I must admit that before I even knew about UST, which was in first year, UP was my dream college. I repeat, was. Why? First, it was the only university I know during that time, and second, my hopes of entering are broken and crushed. Who knew the cut-off's were big. Especially quota courses. Not that I'm breaking myself down, but I know that chances of me getting into UP with an architecture/engineering course is zero, wait, below zero. I mean, there are a lot of students out there who have the ambition (and brains) to pass the exams with flying colours. But still, getting into UP would be awesome, so if ever I pass, I'll definitely enter the ever prestigious University of the Philippines, but only if I get into Diliman. No, UPLB won't cut it. :))

The course. Oh good lawrd. This topic just fills my brain right now, it will explode. Because to this moment I am not 101% sure of the course that I'll be taking. I've thought about these courses, and I'll tell you why they are not working out for me.

  1. Engineering/Architecture - As much as I want to fulfill my parents' dream of becoming an engineer, I don't know, it's not me. At all. Although of all the engineering courses, I am definitely considering ECE. Architecture? I like designing houses. I've been drawing houses since I was a little girl, it was my doodle thing. And I still do today when my time is idle. Plus I'd like to design my own home and me and my brother would be the perfect pair since he's determined to take up civil engineering when he gets to college. I like that thought. Well, at least compared to engineering, I like architecture better.
  2. Information Systems/Computer Science - I like computers, and I've been doing really good on my IT subject, and I had fun programming. The only thing hindering me from getting this is the college I'm planning to enter, UP or UST. I'd rather take this course in DLSU, and no, we can't afford Ateneo. Plus I never really liked that. No offense to the Atenistas. So yeah. If ever I take this course, it must be DLSU. Choosy much. But I saw its curriculum and my mouth went open.
  3. Hotel and Restaurant Management - Okay, this. I really really really like this, activity-wise. You cook things! Which is really me. But my parents disapprove so psh. No further discussion.
  4. Business Administration - I'm 70% sure that this course is the one. So yehey! :) Though I am still thinking what major, finance or marketing? I still don't know. But whatever, I've always liked a business course. I just do. So I hope that in the future, this course won't fail me. In case that 70% will be a 100%.
Enough about college.

Brain Train is on the last week of May. And I have no choice but to commute from our home all the way to our school. Which I think won't be a problem since I've done it before, but only up 'til Paseo. Gah, weirdly, I want and I don't want this to happen. Because I have to do it for 3 days in a week for 2 weeks. Haha, get it? But I have to, I need to. It will serve as my training wheels for college.

I'm really looking forward to our EK gala next week! Can't wait to see my girls again. Yaaaaaay. :)

Random much?

"I don't wanna be normal. I'm terrified of being. . . average. My baby sister and I used to fight, and she used to go: 'Why do you have to be the best?' I don't know, who wants to be second?"

This is why I admire Gaga.

Quick update?
Wednesday, April 20, 2011

I'm back from our vacation in Pangasinan. Truth be told, I had fun. But, songs by The Script kept playing on the radio. And I really mean almost all of their songs! If you ever come back, Nothing, The man who can't be moved. Ugh. Soo, I'm too lazy to further more elaborate my stay there. Bullets?

  • We saw a real life turkey. And it's pretty aggressive, scary.
  • There really is such a thing as a tree house.
  • I drank freakin' red wine. And let me tell you, it has a burning sensation in your throat a few seconds after drinking it.
  • Got to play a piano again after 6 years, I still remembered the short piece I learned during my lessons. I missed playing the piano.
  • My cousin is so cute! Cougar crush. :))
  • Got to swim in the beach again after a long time. I collected shells like I usually did!
  • Hiked. Gah. Reminded me of our field trip.
Okay, I'm too lazy. So I just noticed I haven't been texting for a while, I mean, I do text but barely. Not like last year, I'm literally nonstop. Hmm?

And for some fun, here's Bruno Mars' music video of The Lazy Song. SWAG.
