I actually miss singing
Saturday, May 14, 2011

They say the moment before you sleep is the moment when things that happen in your life come rushin' in your head. Well, last night, I thought of my childhood. And how much I miss it. Damn, how I wish things were still what they were.

I actually just thought of one thing: choir. How I miss singing in the choir! And how I'd sometimes brag about my high-pitched singing voice when I sing a little bit louder than everyone else just to get noticed. That day when I was assigned to sing the responsorial psalm in the mass (during foundation week, I think?) and I wasn't able to because I was late so a teacher did instead. Oh, how I regret that. How jealous I get when someone else gets the solo's because I think I can do better Yes, I was pretty mean then, at least I knew I had something in me. And I threw it all away in my last year in elementary. When I was just too lazy to sing. See how lazy I am? Geez. I can't believe that was my reason. Since I wasn't singing on a regular basis since then, my singing voice slowly. . . I don't know, disappeared? (I really need to expand my vocabulary, errrrrr). Which at first was cool for me since I didn't care, but now. PSSSH. As much as I want to join again for the last time, I can't. :(

Sooooo, I'm currently viewing Forever 21's photos from PFW. Gorgeous pieces! I wish I was there. Gaaah. Oh, and by the way, I watched the news yesterday and saw that a 14 year old from Pampanga won the Ford's Supermodel of the World-Philippines. So pretty. Make our country proud, Samantha Gomez!
