APOSTOLATE: March 19, 2010 :)

Today we get to go to Elsie Gaches in Alabang where we get to mingle with, mentally challenged kids. We were at this kind of like covered area with a stage where we were welcomed by one of the social workers there. While she was explaining the history and how they go about everyday, some children were one by one going there and saying "Good morning!", with a matching wave. We waved too, and said "Good morning" as well. We learned that the clients they have, they are just like us but with their age, their maximun capacity? is for up to 8 years old. So they act like kids, which means you can socialize with them. WOW. I really listened. HAHA.

Okay, so moving on. We were toured around and one time, some guys were waving at Thalia's group, the they said "Halika dito!" Which was really scary. We were walking and some of the residents there were really friendly, they were saying "Hello! Good morning!" And we answered. Then after we circled the place, we were back to the "covered area" Then the 40 selected clients were there. We were scared. And I mean, Jamsy almost cried and we were all against each other. Yeah, when we got settled down, Sir Jhun hosted our mini program. :)

I forgot everyting after that. Okay, let me recall here. Hmmm. The first game was Hephep Hooray. Then, Stop Dance? I think. HAHA. Okay, here are the HIGLIGHTS. :D

On the way.. In the service:

In Elsie Gaches:

I forgot it already. AAAH. Imma just skip to the part when everything was over, we had a sharing of our experience. :)

It made me realize I'm very lucky. That's the bottomline. :)

On the way home, me, Michelle, and Denise decided to send a group message that we were lining up to see Alice in Wonderland in ATC. :)) Yeaah. When we got to the school, Sir Mike told us our score in Biology. Mine was so low. :(

Okay, I think that's it. Overall, today was fun. At first we were all scared but in the end of the day, I see students chit chatting with the people there. Very special, I'll never forget about this. Definitely an experience. :)
